While I’d love to say that I’m spending responsibly over here and saving all of my money for “experiences over items,” I’m afraid I’m not that self-controlled. I’m definitely traveling, but I’ve also done a fair bit of shopping here and there. Recently, I picked up a few new pieces, and they’ve quickly become some of my favorites.
I’ve had my sights set on getting a utilitarian-style jacket in some sort of army green color for a while now. As fate would have it, I came across this beauty at Zara the other day. I’m obsessed with the gold detailing, and also the fact that it cinches at the waist and gives a more feminine silhouette. It’s also a pretty light jacket, so it’ll transition well into spring (whenever that decides to actually happen here).
My other favorite purchase is this black top. The lace-up look is incredibly flattering, and I ended up buying two: this black one and another in a dark teal/mint color. I love when something basic like a t-shirt has fun detailing like this – it means I can wear it by itself and still feel like I’m dressed up.
top | jacket (mine is currently unavailable online, but I love this one)| jeans | boots | necklace
On a more personal, life update note, I now have under 2 weeks left in Oxford. If anyone has any tips on how to get time to stop moving so dang fast, I’d really appreciate it.
xo, Taylor
