Now that the rush of back-to-school season is over, we’re getting into another one of my favorite things about fall: college football. I go to the University of Georgia, which is a huge football school, so we take gamedays pretty seriously. In today’s post, I’m showing two tailgate-ready outfits that are one two opposite ends of the spectrum. One’s a bit more casual and one’s a bit more dressed up, but they’re both perfect for showing a bit of school spirit. Unfortunately, I had work this weekend so I missed out on the first college gameday of the season, but I’m so excited for the rest of the season!
Outfit 1
This first look is super simple: it’s basically a t-shirt and shorts, but dressed up a little bit (like my go-to class outfit). I’m really into cut-out tees, so when I found this one, I immediately had to have it for football season. This would also be insanely easy to DIY – just buy a plain T-shirt from your university’s bookstore and take a pair of scissors to the front of it. I will say, however, that I’m a bit partial to this shirt – it’s so soft! In addition to Georgia, Entourage also has this style available for Bama, Clemson, and Tennessee. The Converse are also a great footwear choice for gameday, since they’re comfortable enough to walk around in during the tailgate and to stand in once you’re inside the football stadium.

Outfit 2
Dressing up for football games is, from what I’ve heard, more of a thing at southern schools than anywhere else, but I’m a huge fan of it. I’m a bit more partial to rompers than dresses – probably because I tend to get really heated about football and would prefer not to accidentally flash anyone while I’m jumping around. I picked this black one up recently and I’m in love with the subtle polka dots. Also, I found a shop called Suede and Stones on Etsy and I’m obsessed with their jewelry, especially their chokers. These two are perfect for gameday! I’m linking them below, but these particular styles may sell out pretty quickly. However, I’m sure you can find similar ones on Etsy somewhere!

Both of these looks translate pretty easily to any other college – just swap out the red and black for your school’s colors. Is anyone else pumped for college football?
