I think part of the reason I love fall fashion so much is that it gives you an opportunity to combine summer and winter fashion in creative ways. I love the contrast between a long sleeve t-shirt and shorts, or jeans and a crop top. Lately, my obsession has been pairing skirts with big, bulky sweaters.
sweater | skirt | tights | boots | necklace (some of my items are a bit older, so I’ve linked similar styles at similar price points!)
While I was in Boston last weekend (post on that topic coming Friday!), I naturally had to check out Acorn Street in Beacon Hill. It’s one of the single most photographed places in Boston. Obviously, I ended up taking a ton of pictures there. While I wasn’t specifically intending to get an outfit post out of them, the pictures turned out so well that I couldn’t resist.
I’m so into this sweater. It’s really just one of those classic bulky sweaters, but I really love the high neckline for some reason. While I paired it with a skirt here, I also think it’s perfect to wear with leggings for a more casual take.
Also, this was the first time I broke out my Tory Burch boots all year. Georgia hasn’t been cold enough to justify knee-high boots, but the slight chill in the air in Boston definitely called for them. Now that it’s starting to get cold here too, I’ll be wearing them as much as I possibly can.

So cute! I love Boston, I go to school about two hours away and I want to visit there more often! Beacon Hill is gorgeous.
