This post is definitely a little late to the party. I’m not going to lie, I definitely burnt myself out the last week of September, and it made accomplishing anything productive really hard this past week. I’ve been out of the gym letting an injury heal, and just generally pretty lazy for the past week. So like, note to self: maybe chill out a little bit next time so you don’t turn into a completely useless human for a week?
Regardless of the delay, I’ve still got some faves to share with you today!
Hamilton soundtrack
I am… so late to the party on this one. I literally only listened to the musical in its entirety back in April, and I got really into the album this past month. Gosh, it’s just so good (but like, everyone knew that already). Some of my favorite tracks include “Satisfied,” “Yorktown,” “Burn,” and “My Shot.”
Wella Color Charm toner
So, if you’ve been following my blog/YouTube this month, you know that I managed to bleach my hair myself. LOL. A week after filming that video, I did another round of toner, using this stuff, and it worked so well. It took my yellow-ish blonde to a silvery platinum, which is exactly what I was looking for. I’ll definitely be using this formula for touch-ups.
Perfect Bar
These refrigerated protein bars legit taste like cookie dough. Especially the peanut butter chocolate chip one. They’re a bit on the pricier side for protein bars, so I only get them when I go to Trader Joe’s (because they’re way cheaper there), but I love them so much. Not to mention, the ingredient list is super simple and not overly processed like some protein bars are.

If you’re looking for healthier interpretations of your favorite drinks (aka, you like pumpkin spice lattes but can’t stomach the 400-calorie price tag), this Instagram account is the way to go. I’ve been ordering his version of an iced PSL for the past few weeks, and it’s super tasty and way healthier.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
“Taylor, haven’t you read the Harry Potter series like, twenty times already?” YES, AND THAT’S IRRELEVANT. I’m re-reading the series and just finished the first book this month, and it’s bringing me back to why I fell in love with the series in the first place. Some of the newer developments are kind of… questionable, but the original books still have a very special place in my heart.
And that’s about it for this month! It’s been a pretty low-key month overall, hence the… not-so-exciting favorites list, haha.
xo, Taylor
